DrugsDisclosed has gathered medical insights from 68 real-world patients taking Xanax. These patients are from different countries, lifestyles and healthcare systems, their unifying characteristic is the medicine they take.
68 patients who were using Xanax were asked how effective they found their medicine. 74% were very positive about Xanax answering that they were very / extremely effective, however 19% felt Xanax was only somewhat effective. Unfortunately 7% of the patients asked felt Xanax had only a slight or very little effect for them.
68 patients taking Xanax were asked how bothered they were by any side effects from taking Xanax? 69% felt not at all or only slightly bothered by side effects from taking Xanax, while 18% felt somewhat bothered. Meaning that 13% felt very or extremely bothered by side effects from taking Xanax.
We recently asked 68 patients who reported taking Xanax how often they took it as prescribed? While 66% told us they never, or only sometimes forgot to take it on time, 16% said that they often forgot to take their Xanax as prescribed. Sadly 18% forgot to take them all the time. 68 patients were recently asked just how difficult they found it to take their medicine as prescribed by their doctor? 81% of them found it not at all or only somewhat difficult taking Xanax as prescribed, 9% found taking Xanax very difficult which left 10% who sadly felt it extremely difficult for them. There can be many factors that make taking medication an issue, and these should be discussed with the doctor prescribing them.
68 patients were recently asked how confident they felt about taking Xanax? 69% of those we asked said that they felt either very or extremely confident when it came to taking Xanax. 16% felt only slightly confident while 15% of the patients we asked felt only slightly confident when taking Xanax.
When asking 68 patients how necessary they found taking their medication. 74% said they felt taking Xanax to be very or extremely necessary. 21% said they felt Xanax to be only somewhat necessary for them. Finally 6% of patients taking Xanax found it only slightly or even not at all necessary for them.
We asked 53 patients using Xanax how often they forgot to take their medication? 57% of reported that they never or rarely forgot to take their medication, while 26% of patients taking Xanax reported sometimes forgetting to take their medication. 17% of patients sadly often or almost all the time forget to take their medication. 53 patients were recently asked to what extent they felt that the benefits of Xanax outweighed its disadvantages? 66% of them answered positively saying they felt to large or extreme extent that the advantages of taking Xanax outweighed its disadvantages. However, 23% of the patients felt this only to a moderate extent and that meant that 11% felt only a small extent or worst of all, not at all.
53 patients were recently asked how satisfied they were with the information and guidance they received with their Xanax. 55% of those asked were either very satisfied or satisfied, which is great news. However, 34% of those asked were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, which left 11% of patients feeling either dissatisfied or even worse very dissatisfied with the information and guidance they received with their medication.
