5415 patients taking Simvastatin [Apo] were asked how effective they found their medicine. 75% felt that Simvastatin [Apo] was very / extremely effective, while 20% found it to be only somewhat effective. This means that 5% felt that Simvastatin [Apo] had only a slight or very little effect.
We asked 5463 patients taking Simvastatin [Apo] just how bothered they were by side effects? 90% of those we asked this too reported feeling they were not at all or only slightly bothered by side effects, yet 7% of patients asked said they felt somewhat bothered from Simvastatin [Apo]. This leaves 3% of the patients we asked who were using Simvastatin [Apo] still felt very or extremely bothered from side effects when they were taking Simvastatin [Apo].
We recently asked 5463 patients who reported taking Simvastatin [Apo] how often they took it as prescribed? While 98% told us they never, or only sometimes forgot to take it on time, 1% said that they often forgot to take their Simvastatin [Apo] as prescribed. Sadly 1% forgot to take them all the time. 5463 patients using Simvastatin [Apo] were asked how difficult they found it to take their medicine as prescribed? There are several reasons why it can be difficult for a patient to take their medication as prescribed. Luckily 98% of those asked felt that they found it not at all or only somewhat difficult to take their Simvastatin [Apo] as prescribed by their doctor, 2% felt they found taking Simvastatin [Apo] very difficult. Leaving 1% who felt it extremely difficult for them to take Simvastatin [Apo].
A patient survey asked 5463 patients just how confident they felt about taking Simvastatin [Apo]? 77% replied postivly that they felt either very or extremely confident when it came to taking Simvastatin [Apo]. 18% of the patients replied they were only slightly confident, while 5% of them responded feeling only slightly confident when it came to taking Simvastatin [Apo].
When asking 5245 patients how necessary they found taking their medication. 79% said they felt taking Simvastatin [Apo] to be very or extremely necessary. 17% said they felt Simvastatin [Apo] to be only somewhat necessary for them. Finally 4% of patients taking Simvastatin [Apo] found it only slightly or even not at all necessary for them.
4235 patients taking Simvastatin [Apo] were asked how often they forgot to take their medication? 91% of those asked said they never or rarely forgot to take their Simvastatin [Apo], although 6% of patients taking Simvastatin [Apo] reported that they sometimes forget to take their medication, even forgetting sometimes can have a negative effect on your treatment. 2% of patients sadly reported that they often or almost all the time forget their medication.
Surveying 5261 patients we asked them to what extent they felt that the benefits of their medicine (in this case Simvastatin [Apo]) outweighed its disadvantages. A group of 72% replied that they felt to a large or even extreme extent that the advantages of taking their medication outweighed any disadvantages that Simvastatin [Apo] may have. 17% of the patients felt this and a reduced level and reported feeling only a moderate extent. At the bottom of the scale were 10% of the patients asked, who felt this was true to only a small extent or even reported a result of not at all.
We asked 5261 patients taking Simvastatin [Apo] in a recent survey if they were satisfied with the information and guidance they received with their medication. 80% of those asked were very satisfied or satisfied with the information. While, 15% of the patients taking Simvastatin [Apo] when asked were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, leaving 5% of patients feeling either dissatisfied or very dissatisfied when it came to the information and guidance they received with their medication.
