DrugsDisclosed has gathered medical insights from 380 real-world patients taking Seroquel. These patients are from different countries, lifestyles and healthcare systems, their unifying characteristic is the medicine they take.
377 patients taking Seroquel were asked how effective they found their medicine. Luckily 64% responded very positively about Seroquel reporting that they were very / extremely effective, while 24% reported that they felt Seroquel was only somewhat effective for them. Finally 12% of the patients asked reported that Seroquel had only a slight or very little effect for them.
We asked 380 patients taking Seroquel just how bothered they were by side effects? 57% of those we asked this too reported feeling they were not at all or only slightly bothered by side effects, yet 28% of patients asked said they felt somewhat bothered from Seroquel. This leaves 14% of the patients we asked who were using Seroquel still felt very or extremely bothered from side effects when they were taking Seroquel.
We recently asked 380 patients who reported taking Seroquel how often they took it as prescribed? While 94% told us they never, or only sometimes forgot to take it on time, 2% said that they often forgot to take their Seroquel as prescribed. Sadly 4% forgot to take them all the time. 380 patients using Seroquel were asked how difficult they found it to take their medicine as prescribed? There are several reasons why it can be difficult for a patient to take their medication as prescribed. Luckily 90% of those asked felt that they found it not at all or only somewhat difficult to take their Seroquel as prescribed by their doctor, 6% felt they found taking Seroquel very difficult. Leaving 4% who felt it extremely difficult for them to take Seroquel.
380 patients were recently asked how confident they felt about taking Seroquel? 58% of those we asked said that they felt either very or extremely confident when it came to taking Seroquel. 29% felt only slightly confident while 13% of the patients we asked felt only slightly confident when taking Seroquel.
355 patients were asked how necessary they found taking Seroquel. 82% said they found Seroquel to be very or extremely necessary, while 13% said they found it to be only somewhat necessary. Sadly, the final 5% of patients asked found it only slightly or even not at all necessary for them. If you feel your medication is unnecessary, please talk to your doctor about it.
We asked 262 patients using Seroquel how often they forgot to take their medication? 73% of reported that they never or rarely forgot to take their medication, while 16% of patients taking Seroquel reported sometimes forgetting to take their medication. 11% of patients sadly often or almost all the time forget to take their medication. Surveying 277 patients we asked them to what extent they felt that the benefits of their medicine (in this case Seroquel) outweighed its disadvantages. A group of 66% replied that they felt to a large or even extreme extent that the advantages of taking their medication outweighed any disadvantages that Seroquel may have. 23% of the patients felt this and a reduced level and reported feeling only a moderate extent. At the bottom of the scale were 10% of the patients asked, who felt this was true to only a small extent or even reported a result of not at all.
We asked 277 patients taking Seroquel in a recent survey if they were satisfied with the information and guidance they received with their medication. 68% of those asked were very satisfied or satisfied with the information. While, 22% of the patients taking Seroquel when asked were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, leaving 10% of patients feeling either dissatisfied or very dissatisfied when it came to the information and guidance they received with their medication.
