DrugsDisclosed has gathered medical insights from 2017 real-world patients taking Quetiapin [Amneal]. These patients are from different countries, lifestyles and healthcare systems, their unifying characteristic is the medicine they take.

2009 patients who were using Quetiapin [Amneal] were asked how effective they found their medicine. 68% were very positive about Quetiapin [Amneal] answering that they were very / extremely effective, however 23% felt Quetiapin [Amneal] was only somewhat effective. Unfortunately 9% of the patients asked felt Quetiapin [Amneal] had only a slight or very little effect for them.

We asked 2017 patients taking Quetiapin [Amneal] just how bothered they were by side effects? 67% of those we asked this too reported feeling they were not at all or only slightly bothered by side effects, yet 23% of patients asked said they felt somewhat bothered from Quetiapin [Amneal]. This leaves 10% of the patients we asked who were using Quetiapin [Amneal] still felt very or extremely bothered from side effects when they were taking Quetiapin [Amneal].

2017 patients using Quetiapin [Amneal] were asked how often they took their medicine as prescribed? 88% of those asked said they never, or only sometimes forget to take their Quetiapin [Amneal] as prescribed, while 6% often forgot. We asked 2017 patients taking Quetiapin [Amneal] how difficult they found it to take their medicine as prescribed? There can be many factors why they found it difficult to take as prescribed. 87% of those asked positively reported that they found it not at all or only somewhat difficult to take their Quetiapin [Amneal] as prescribed, whereas 9% reported that they found taking the same medication very difficult. Sadly, there were still 4% who reported finding it extremely difficult for them to take their medicine as prescribed.

2017 patients were recently asked how confident they felt about taking Quetiapin [Amneal]? 69% of those we asked said that they felt either very or extremely confident when it came to taking Quetiapin [Amneal]. 23% felt only slightly confident while 8% of the patients we asked felt only slightly confident when taking Quetiapin [Amneal].

1931 patients were asked how necessary they found taking Quetiapin [Amneal]. 79% said they found Quetiapin [Amneal] to be very or extremely necessary, while 17% said they found it to be only somewhat necessary. 1751 patients were recently asked how often they forgot to take their medication? 72% of those asked never or rarely forgot their medication, while 18% of those taking Quetiapin [Amneal] reported that they sometimes forgot. Surveying 1770 patients we asked them to what extent they felt that the benefits of their medicine (in this case Quetiapin [Amneal]) outweighed its disadvantages. A group of 64% replied that they felt to a large or even extreme extent that the advantages of taking their medication outweighed any disadvantages that Quetiapin [Amneal] may have. 25% of the patients felt this and a reduced level and reported feeling only a moderate extent. At the bottom of the scale were 11% of the patients asked, who felt this was true to only a small extent or even reported a result of not at all.

When asking 1770 patients taking Quetiapin [Amneal] if they were satisfied with the information and guidance they received with their medication. 74% of them answered that they were very satisfied or satisfied while, 19% of were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied. That left 7% of patients feeling either dissatisfied or worse of all very dissatisfied when it came to the information and guidance they received with their Quetiapin [Amneal].
