There are several reasons why it can be difficult for a patient to take their medication as prescribed. Luckily 94% of those asked felt that they found it not at all or only somewhat difficult to take their Prednisolone [EG] as prescribed by their doctor, 4% felt they found taking Prednisolone [EG] very difficult. Surveying 2047 patients we asked them to what extent they felt that the benefits of their medicine (in this case Prednisolone [EG]) outweighed its disadvantages. A group of 72% replied that they felt to a large or even extreme extent that the advantages of taking their medication outweighed any disadvantages that Prednisolone [EG] may have. 19% of the patients felt this and a reduced level and reported feeling only a moderate extent. At the bottom of the scale were 9% of the patients asked, who felt this was true to only a small extent or even reported a result of not at all.
We asked 2047 patients taking Prednisolone [EG] in a recent survey if they were satisfied with the information and guidance they received with their medication. 81% of those asked were very satisfied or satisfied with the information. While, 13% of the patients taking Prednisolone [EG] when asked were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, leaving 5% of patients feeling either dissatisfied or very dissatisfied when it came to the information and guidance they received with their medication.
