DrugsDisclosed has gathered medical insights from 2371 real-world patients taking prednisolone (active ingredient). These patients are from different countries, lifestyles and healthcare systems, their unifying characteristic is the medicine they take.

2361 patients who were using prednisolone (active ingredient) were asked how effective they found their medicine. 83% were very positive about prednisolone (active ingredient) answering that they were very / extremely effective, however 12% felt prednisolone (active ingredient) was only somewhat effective. Unfortunately 5% of the patients asked felt prednisolone (active ingredient) had only a slight or very little effect for them.

We asked 2371 patients taking prednisolone (active ingredient) just how bothered they were by side effects? 54% of those we asked this too reported feeling they were not at all or only slightly bothered by side effects, yet 25% of patients asked said they felt somewhat bothered from prednisolone (active ingredient). This leaves 21% of the patients we asked who were using prednisolone (active ingredient) still felt very or extremely bothered from side effects when they were taking prednisolone (active ingredient).

2370 patients using prednisolone (active ingredient) were asked how often they took their medicine as prescribed? 92% of those asked said they never, or only sometimes forget to take their prednisolone (active ingredient) as prescribed, while 3% often forgot. We asked 2371 patients taking prednisolone (active ingredient) how difficult they found it to take their medicine as prescribed? There can be many factors why they found it difficult to take as prescribed. 94% of those asked positively reported that they found it not at all or only somewhat difficult to take their prednisolone (active ingredient) as prescribed, whereas 5% reported that they found taking the same medication very difficult. Sadly, there were still 2% who reported finding it extremely difficult for them to take their medicine as prescribed.

In a recent patient survey, we asked 2371 patients how confident they felt about taking prednisolone (active ingredient)? 62% felt either very or extremely confident when it came to taking prednisolone (active ingredient). while 27% responded that they were only slightly confident leaving 11% of the patients we asked responded feeling only slightly confident when taking prednisolone (active ingredient).

We asked 2279 patients how necessary they found taking prednisolone (active ingredient). 90% of the patients asked found prednisolone (active ingredient) to be very or extremely necessary for them, while 8% found it to be only somewhat necessary. However, there are still 3% of patients using prednisolone (active ingredient) who feel it is only slightly or even not at all necessary for them.

1973 patients were recently asked how often they forgot to take their medication? 90% of those asked never or rarely forgot their medication, while 6% of those taking prednisolone (active ingredient) reported that they sometimes forgot. When we asked 2224 patients to what extent they felt that the benefits of their medicine outweighed its disadvantages a group of 72% of them replied that they felt to a large or even extreme extent that the advantages of taking prednisolone (active ingredient) outweighed any disadvantages. 19% of the patients however felt this to a moderate extent leaving 9% who felt this was true to only a small extent or even felt not at all.

When asking 2224 patients taking prednisolone (active ingredient) if they were satisfied with the information and guidance they received with their medication. 81% of them answered that they were very satisfied or satisfied while, 14% of were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied. That left 5% of patients feeling either dissatisfied or worse of all very dissatisfied when it came to the information and guidance they received with their prednisolone (active ingredient).
