2282 patients were recently asked just how difficult they found it to take their medicine as prescribed by their doctor? 94% of them found it not at all or only somewhat difficult taking Prednisolon [AL] as prescribed, 5% found taking Prednisolon [AL] very difficult which left 1% who sadly felt it extremely difficult for them. Surveying 2140 patients we asked them to what extent they felt that the benefits of their medicine (in this case Prednisolon [AL]) outweighed its disadvantages. A group of 72% replied that they felt to a large or even extreme extent that the advantages of taking their medication outweighed any disadvantages that Prednisolon [AL] may have. 19% of the patients felt this and a reduced level and reported feeling only a moderate extent. However, 13% of those asked were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, which left 5% of patients feeling either dissatisfied or even worse very dissatisfied with the information and guidance they received with their medication.
