DrugsDisclosed has gathered medical insights from 1599 real-world patients taking Paracetamol. These patients are from different countries, lifestyles and healthcare systems, their unifying characteristic is the medicine they take.

1596 patients who were using Paracetamol were asked how effective they found their medicine. 60% were very positive about Paracetamol answering that they were very / extremely effective, however 29% felt Paracetamol was only somewhat effective. Unfortunately 11% of the patients asked felt Paracetamol had only a slight or very little effect for them.

1599 patients taking Paracetamol were asked how bothered they were by any side effects from taking Paracetamol? 87% felt not at all or only slightly bothered by side effects from taking Paracetamol, while 8% felt somewhat bothered. Meaning that 5% felt very or extremely bothered by side effects from taking Paracetamol.

We asked 1599 patients taking Paracetamol how often they took their medicine as prescribed by their doctor? 78% said they never, or only sometimes forget, while 10% often forgot to take their Paracetamol as prescribed. We asked 1599 patients taking Paracetamol how difficult they found it to take their medicine as prescribed? There can be many factors why they found it difficult to take as prescribed. 92% of those asked positively reported that they found it not at all or only somewhat difficult to take their Paracetamol as prescribed, whereas 4% reported that they found taking the same medication very difficult. Sadly, there were still 4% who reported finding it extremely difficult for them to take their medicine as prescribed.

In a recent patient survey, we asked 1599 patients how confident they felt about taking Paracetamol? 80% felt either very or extremely confident when it came to taking Paracetamol. while 16% responded that they were only slightly confident leaving 4% of the patients we asked responded feeling only slightly confident when taking Paracetamol.

1570 patients were asked how necessary they found taking Paracetamol. 78% said they found Paracetamol to be very or extremely necessary, while 17% said they found it to be only somewhat necessary. Sadly, the final 5% of patients asked found it only slightly or even not at all necessary for them. If you feel your medication is unnecessary, please talk to your doctor about it.

1414 patients were recently asked how often they forgot to take their medication? 77% of those asked never or rarely forgot their medication, while 14% of those taking Paracetamol reported that they sometimes forgot. This left 9% of patients sadly reporting that they often or almost all the time forgot to take their medication. If you also forget your medication try using DrugStars to help you remember.

When we asked 1478 patients to what extent they felt that the benefits of their medicine outweighed its disadvantages a group of 77% of them replied that they felt to a large or even extreme extent that the advantages of taking Paracetamol outweighed any disadvantages. 15% of the patients however felt this to a moderate extent leaving 8% who felt this was true to only a small extent or even felt not at all.

When asking 1478 patients taking Paracetamol if they were satisfied with the information and guidance they received with their medication. 83% of them answered that they were very satisfied or satisfied while, 13% of were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied. That left 5% of patients feeling either dissatisfied or worse of all very dissatisfied when it came to the information and guidance they received with their Paracetamol.
