Unfortunately 5% of the patients asked felt Metoprolol [Apotex] had only a slight or very little effect for them.
We asked 2565 patients taking Metoprolol [Apotex] just how bothered they were by side effects? 90% of those we asked this too reported feeling they were not at all or only slightly bothered by side effects, yet 7% of patients asked said they felt somewhat bothered from Metoprolol [Apotex]. There are several reasons why it can be difficult for a patient to take their medication as prescribed. Luckily 98% of those asked felt that they found it not at all or only somewhat difficult to take their Metoprolol [Apotex] as prescribed by their doctor, 1% felt they found taking Metoprolol [Apotex] very difficult. Leaving 1% who felt it extremely difficult for them to take Metoprolol [Apotex].

When asking 2558 patients how necessary they found taking their medication. 88% said they felt taking Metoprolol [Apotex] to be very or extremely necessary. 9% said they felt Metoprolol [Apotex] to be only somewhat necessary for them. Finally 3% of patients taking Metoprolol [Apotex] found it only slightly or even not at all necessary for them.
1906 patients were recently asked how often they forgot to take their medication? 94% of those asked never or rarely forgot their medication, while 4% of those taking Metoprolol [Apotex] reported that they sometimes forgot. Surveying 2547 patients we asked them to what extent they felt that the benefits of their medicine (in this case Metoprolol [Apotex]) outweighed its disadvantages. A group of 82% replied that they felt to a large or even extreme extent that the advantages of taking their medication outweighed any disadvantages that Metoprolol [Apotex] may have. 12% of the patients felt this and a reduced level and reported feeling only a moderate extent. At the bottom of the scale were 6% of the patients asked, who felt this was true to only a small extent or even reported a result of not at all.
2547 patients were recently asked how satisfied they were with the information and guidance they received with their Metoprolol [Apotex]. 76% of those asked were either very satisfied or satisfied, which is great news. However, 16% of those asked were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, which left 8% of patients feeling either dissatisfied or even worse very dissatisfied with the information and guidance they received with their medication.
