DrugsDisclosed has gathered medical insights from 9980 real-world patients taking Metformina. These patients are from different countries, lifestyles and healthcare systems, their unifying characteristic is the medicine they take.
9930 patients who were using Metformina were asked how effective they found their medicine. 74% were very positive about Metformina answering that they were very / extremely effective, however 20% felt Metformina was only somewhat effective. Unfortunately 6% of the patients asked felt Metformina had only a slight or very little effect for them.
We asked 9979 patients taking Metformina just how bothered they were by side effects? 84% of those we asked this too reported feeling they were not at all or only slightly bothered by side effects, yet 10% of patients asked said they felt somewhat bothered from Metformina. This leaves 6% of the patients we asked who were using Metformina still felt very or extremely bothered from side effects when they were taking Metformina.
We asked 9979 patients taking Metformina how often they took their medicine as prescribed by their doctor? 96% said they never, or only sometimes forget, while 2% often forgot to take their Metformina as prescribed. We asked 9979 patients taking Metformina how difficult they found it to take their medicine as prescribed? There can be many factors why they found it difficult to take as prescribed. 95% of those asked positively reported that they found it not at all or only somewhat difficult to take their Metformina as prescribed, whereas 3% reported that they found taking the same medication very difficult. Sadly, there were still 1% who reported finding it extremely difficult for them to take their medicine as prescribed.
In a recent patient survey, we asked 9980 patients how confident they felt about taking Metformina? 83% felt either very or extremely confident when it came to taking Metformina. while 14% responded that they were only slightly confident leaving 4% of the patients we asked responded feeling only slightly confident when taking Metformina.
9392 patients were asked how necessary they found taking Metformina. 86% said they found Metformina to be very or extremely necessary, while 11% said they found it to be only somewhat necessary. Sadly, the final 3% of patients asked found it only slightly or even not at all necessary for them. If you feel your medication is unnecessary, please talk to your doctor about it.
7349 patients taking Metformina were asked how often they forgot to take their medication? 86% of those asked said they never or rarely forgot to take their Metformina, although 11% of patients taking Metformina reported that they sometimes forget to take their medication, even forgetting sometimes can have a negative effect on your treatment. 4% of patients sadly reported that they often or almost all the time forget their medication.
When we asked 9444 patients to what extent they felt that the benefits of their medicine outweighed its disadvantages a group of 75% of them replied that they felt to a large or even extreme extent that the advantages of taking Metformina outweighed any disadvantages. 16% of the patients however felt this to a moderate extent leaving 10% who felt this was true to only a small extent or even felt not at all.
When asking 9444 patients taking Metformina if they were satisfied with the information and guidance they received with their medication. 80% of them answered that they were very satisfied or satisfied while, 14% of were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied. That left 6% of patients feeling either dissatisfied or worse of all very dissatisfied when it came to the information and guidance they received with their Metformina.
