9130 patients were recently asked to what extent they felt that the benefits of Metformin [Alpharma] outweighed its disadvantages? 74% of them answered positively saying they felt to large or extreme extent that the advantages of taking Metformin [Alpharma] outweighed its disadvantages. However, 16% of the patients felt this only to a moderate extent and that meant that 10% felt only a small extent or worst of all, not at all.
9130 patients were recently asked how satisfied they were with the information and guidance they received with their Metformin [Alpharma]. 80% of those asked were either very satisfied or satisfied, which is great news. However, 14% of those asked were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, which left 6% of patients feeling either dissatisfied or even worse very dissatisfied with the information and guidance they received with their medication.
