Of those asked 84% reported that they were not at all or only slightly bothered by any side effects, while 11% of those asked reported feeling somewhat bothered. There are several reasons why it can be difficult for a patient to take their medication as prescribed. Luckily 95% of those asked felt that they found it not at all or only somewhat difficult to take their metformin (group of active ingredients) as prescribed by their doctor, 3% felt they found taking metformin (group of active ingredients) very difficult. 7971 patients taking metformin (group of active ingredients) were asked how often they forgot to take their medication? 86% of those asked said they never or rarely forgot to take their metformin (group of active ingredients), although 11% of patients taking metformin (group of active ingredients) reported that they sometimes forget to take their medication, even forgetting sometimes can have a negative effect on your treatment. 4% of patients sadly reported that they often or almost all the time forget their medication.

10219 patients were recently asked to what extent they felt that the benefits of metformin (group of active ingredients) outweighed its disadvantages? 75% of them answered positively saying they felt to large or extreme extent that the advantages of taking metformin (group of active ingredients) outweighed its disadvantages. However, 15% of the patients felt this only to a moderate extent and that meant that 10% felt only a small extent or worst of all, not at all.

When asking 10219 patients taking metformin (group of active ingredients) if they were satisfied with the information and guidance they received with their medication. 80% of them answered that they were very satisfied or satisfied while, 14% of were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied. That left 6% of patients feeling either dissatisfied or worse of all very dissatisfied when it came to the information and guidance they received with their metformin (group of active ingredients).
