DrugsDisclosed has gathered medical insights from 2064 real-world patients taking Melatonin. These patients are from different countries, lifestyles and healthcare systems, their unifying characteristic is the medicine they take.
2055 patients who were using Melatonin were asked how effective they found their medicine. 63% were very positive about Melatonin answering that they were very / extremely effective, however 26% felt Melatonin was only somewhat effective. Unfortunately 11% of the patients asked felt Melatonin had only a slight or very little effect for them.
We asked 2064 patients taking Melatonin how bothered they were by side effects from taking Melatonin? Of those asked 90% reported that they were not at all or only slightly bothered by any side effects, while 7% of those asked reported feeling somewhat bothered. Meaning that sadly 3% of patients using Melatonin felt very or extremely bothered by the side effects of taking Melatonin.
We recently asked 2064 patients who reported taking Melatonin how often they took it as prescribed? While 87% told us they never, or only sometimes forgot to take it on time, 5% said that they often forgot to take their Melatonin as prescribed. Sadly 7% forgot to take them all the time. We asked 2064 patients taking Melatonin how difficult they found it to take their medicine as prescribed? There can be many factors why they found it difficult to take as prescribed. 90% of those asked positively reported that they found it not at all or only somewhat difficult to take their Melatonin as prescribed, whereas 7% reported that they found taking the same medication very difficult. Sadly, there were still 3% who reported finding it extremely difficult for them to take their medicine as prescribed.
In a recent patient survey, we asked 2064 patients how confident they felt about taking Melatonin? 83% felt either very or extremely confident when it came to taking Melatonin. while 12% responded that they were only slightly confident leaving 4% of the patients we asked responded feeling only slightly confident when taking Melatonin.
When asking 2056 patients how necessary they found taking their medication. 80% said they felt taking Melatonin to be very or extremely necessary. 16% said they felt Melatonin to be only somewhat necessary for them. Finally 5% of patients taking Melatonin found it only slightly or even not at all necessary for them.
1882 patients were recently asked how often they forgot to take their medication? 72% of those asked never or rarely forgot their medication, while 18% of those taking Melatonin reported that they sometimes forgot. Surveying 1896 patients we asked them to what extent they felt that the benefits of their medicine (in this case Melatonin) outweighed its disadvantages. A group of 78% replied that they felt to a large or even extreme extent that the advantages of taking their medication outweighed any disadvantages that Melatonin may have. 13% of the patients felt this and a reduced level and reported feeling only a moderate extent. At the bottom of the scale were 8% of the patients asked, who felt this was true to only a small extent or even reported a result of not at all.
We asked 1896 patients taking Melatonin in a recent survey if they were satisfied with the information and guidance they received with their medication. 76% of those asked were very satisfied or satisfied with the information. While, 19% of the patients taking Melatonin when asked were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, leaving 5% of patients feeling either dissatisfied or very dissatisfied when it came to the information and guidance they received with their medication.
