Unfortunately 4% of the patients asked felt Losartan [Sandoz] had only a slight or very little effect for them.
We asked 5213 patients taking Losartan [Sandoz] how bothered they were by side effects from taking Losartan [Sandoz]? Of those asked 91% reported that they were not at all or only slightly bothered by any side effects, while 6% of those asked reported feeling somewhat bothered. Meaning that sadly 3% of patients using Losartan [Sandoz] felt very or extremely bothered by the side effects of taking Losartan [Sandoz].
We recently asked 5213 patients who reported taking Losartan [Sandoz] how often they took it as prescribed? 3799 patients taking Losartan [Sandoz] were asked how often they forgot to take their medication? 94% of those asked said they never or rarely forgot to take their Losartan [Sandoz], although 5% of patients taking Losartan [Sandoz] reported that they sometimes forget to take their medication, even forgetting sometimes can have a negative effect on your treatment. 1% of patients sadly reported that they often or almost all the time forget their medication.
When we asked 5125 patients to what extent they felt that the benefits of their medicine outweighed its disadvantages a group of 80% of them replied that they felt to a large or even extreme extent that the advantages of taking Losartan [Sandoz] outweighed any disadvantages. 13% of the patients however felt this to a moderate extent leaving 7% who felt this was true to only a small extent or even felt not at all.
When asking 5125 patients taking Losartan [Sandoz] if they were satisfied with the information and guidance they received with their medication. 77% of them answered that they were very satisfied or satisfied while, 16% of were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied. That left 7% of patients feeling either dissatisfied or worse of all very dissatisfied when it came to the information and guidance they received with their Losartan [Sandoz].
