664 patients who were using Lantus were asked how effective they found their medicine. 88% were very positive about Lantus answering that they were very / extremely effective, however 7% felt Lantus was only somewhat effective. Unfortunately 5% of the patients asked felt Lantus had only a slight or very little effect for them.
We asked 667 patients taking Lantus how bothered they were by side effects from taking Lantus? Of those asked 89% reported that they were not at all or only slightly bothered by any side effects, while 7% of those asked reported feeling somewhat bothered. Meaning that sadly 4% of patients using Lantus felt very or extremely bothered by the side effects of taking Lantus.
We asked 667 patients taking Lantus how often they took their medicine as prescribed by their doctor? 98% said they never, or only sometimes forget, while 1% often forgot to take their Lantus as prescribed. We asked 667 patients taking Lantus how difficult they found it to take their medicine as prescribed? There can be many factors why they found it difficult to take as prescribed. 87% of those asked positively reported that they found it not at all or only somewhat difficult to take their Lantus as prescribed, whereas 10% reported that they found taking the same medication very difficult. Sadly, there were still 3% who reported finding it extremely difficult for them to take their medicine as prescribed.
In a recent patient survey, we asked 667 patients how confident they felt about taking Lantus? 90% felt either very or extremely confident when it came to taking Lantus. while 8% responded that they were only slightly confident leaving 2% of the patients we asked responded feeling only slightly confident when taking Lantus.
We asked 621 patients how necessary they found taking Lantus. 97% of the patients asked found Lantus to be very or extremely necessary for them, while 2% found it to be only somewhat necessary. However, there are still 0% of patients using Lantus who feel it is only slightly or even not at all necessary for them.
534 patients were recently asked how often they forgot to take their medication? 90% of those asked never or rarely forgot their medication, while 7% of those taking Lantus reported that they sometimes forgot. Surveying 571 patients we asked them to what extent they felt that the benefits of their medicine (in this case Lantus) outweighed its disadvantages. A group of 83% replied that they felt to a large or even extreme extent that the advantages of taking their medication outweighed any disadvantages that Lantus may have. 8% of the patients felt this and a reduced level and reported feeling only a moderate extent. At the bottom of the scale were 9% of the patients asked, who felt this was true to only a small extent or even reported a result of not at all.
When asking 571 patients taking Lantus if they were satisfied with the information and guidance they received with their medication. 88% of them answered that they were very satisfied or satisfied while, 8% of were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied. That left 4% of patients feeling either dissatisfied or worse of all very dissatisfied when it came to the information and guidance they received with their Lantus.
