There are several reasons why it can be difficult for a patient to take their medication as prescribed. Luckily 90% of those asked felt that they found it not at all or only somewhat difficult to take their Lamictal as prescribed by their doctor, 7% felt they found taking Lamictal very difficult. Leaving 3% who felt it extremely difficult for them to take Lamictal.
1055 patients were recently asked how confident they felt about taking Lamictal? 81% of those we asked said that they felt either very or extremely confident when it came to taking Lamictal. 15% felt only slightly confident while 5% of the patients we asked felt only slightly confident when taking Lamictal.
1013 patients were asked how necessary they found taking Lamictal. 89% said they found Lamictal to be very or extremely necessary, while 8% said they found it to be only somewhat necessary. Sadly, the final 3% of patients asked found it only slightly or even not at all necessary for them. If you feel your medication is unnecessary, please talk to your doctor about it.
We asked 897 patients using Lamictal how often they forgot to take their medication? 74% of reported that they never or rarely forgot to take their medication, while 18% of patients taking Lamictal reported sometimes forgetting to take their medication. 8% of patients sadly often or almost all the time forget to take their medication. Surveying 941 patients we asked them to what extent they felt that the benefits of their medicine (in this case Lamictal) outweighed its disadvantages. A group of 76% replied that they felt to a large or even extreme extent that the advantages of taking their medication outweighed any disadvantages that Lamictal may have. 15% of the patients felt this and a reduced level and reported feeling only a moderate extent. At the bottom of the scale were 9% of the patients asked, who felt this was true to only a small extent or even reported a result of not at all.
When asking 941 patients taking Lamictal if they were satisfied with the information and guidance they received with their medication. 77% of them answered that they were very satisfied or satisfied while, 18% of were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied. That left 5% of patients feeling either dissatisfied or worse of all very dissatisfied when it came to the information and guidance they received with their Lamictal.
