Unfortunately 16% of the patients asked felt Fluoxetine [Sandoz] had only a slight or very little effect for them.
We asked 1899 patients taking Fluoxetine [Sandoz] how bothered they were by side effects from taking Fluoxetine [Sandoz]? Of those asked 70% reported that they were not at all or only slightly bothered by any side effects, while 21% of those asked reported feeling somewhat bothered. 1899 patients using Fluoxetine [Sandoz] were asked how often they took their medicine as prescribed? 91% of those asked said they never, or only sometimes forget to take their Fluoxetine [Sandoz] as prescribed, while 4% often forgot. There are several reasons why it can be difficult for a patient to take their medication as prescribed. Luckily 81% of those asked felt that they found it not at all or only somewhat difficult to take their Fluoxetine [Sandoz] as prescribed by their doctor, 13% felt they found taking Fluoxetine [Sandoz] very difficult. Leaving 6% who felt it extremely difficult for them to take Fluoxetine [Sandoz].
A patient survey asked 1899 patients just how confident they felt about taking Fluoxetine [Sandoz]? 65% replied postivly that they felt either very or extremely confident when it came to taking Fluoxetine [Sandoz]. 25% of the patients replied they were only slightly confident, while 10% of them responded feeling only slightly confident when it came to taking Fluoxetine [Sandoz].
1843 patients were asked how necessary they found taking Fluoxetine [Sandoz]. 81% said they found Fluoxetine [Sandoz] to be very or extremely necessary, while 15% said they found it to be only somewhat necessary. 1496 patients were recently asked how often they forgot to take their medication? 52% of those asked never or rarely forgot their medication, while 27% of those taking Fluoxetine [Sandoz] reported that they sometimes forgot. When we asked 1580 patients to what extent they felt that the benefits of their medicine outweighed its disadvantages a group of 70% of them replied that they felt to a large or even extreme extent that the advantages of taking Fluoxetine [Sandoz] outweighed any disadvantages. 19% of the patients however felt this to a moderate extent leaving 11% who felt this was true to only a small extent or even felt not at all.
1579 patients were recently asked how satisfied they were with the information and guidance they received with their Fluoxetine [Sandoz]. 72% of those asked were either very satisfied or satisfied, which is great news. However, 20% of those asked were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, which left 8% of patients feeling either dissatisfied or even worse very dissatisfied with the information and guidance they received with their medication.
