DrugsDisclosed has gathered medical insights from 2220 real-world patients taking fluoxetine (group of active ingredients). These patients are from different countries, lifestyles and healthcare systems, their unifying characteristic is the medicine they take.

2168 patients taking fluoxetine (group of active ingredients) were asked how effective they found their medicine. 58% felt that fluoxetine (group of active ingredients) was very / extremely effective, while 26% found it to be only somewhat effective. This means that 16% felt that fluoxetine (group of active ingredients) had only a slight or very little effect.

We asked 2220 patients taking fluoxetine (group of active ingredients) just how bothered they were by side effects? 71% of those we asked this too reported feeling they were not at all or only slightly bothered by side effects, yet 20% of patients asked said they felt somewhat bothered from fluoxetine (group of active ingredients). This leaves 9% of the patients we asked who were using fluoxetine (group of active ingredients) still felt very or extremely bothered from side effects when they were taking fluoxetine (group of active ingredients).

We asked 2220 patients taking fluoxetine (group of active ingredients) how often they took their medicine as prescribed by their doctor? 90% said they never, or only sometimes forget, while 4% often forgot to take their fluoxetine (group of active ingredients) as prescribed. We asked 2220 patients taking fluoxetine (group of active ingredients) how difficult they found it to take their medicine as prescribed? There can be many factors why they found it difficult to take as prescribed. 80% of those asked positively reported that they found it not at all or only somewhat difficult to take their fluoxetine (group of active ingredients) as prescribed, whereas 13% reported that they found taking the same medication very difficult. Sadly, there were still 6% who reported finding it extremely difficult for them to take their medicine as prescribed.

2219 patients were recently asked how confident they felt about taking fluoxetine (group of active ingredients)? 66% of those we asked said that they felt either very or extremely confident when it came to taking fluoxetine (group of active ingredients). 24% felt only slightly confident while 10% of the patients we asked felt only slightly confident when taking fluoxetine (group of active ingredients).

We asked 2156 patients how necessary they found taking fluoxetine (group of active ingredients). 80% of the patients asked found fluoxetine (group of active ingredients) to be very or extremely necessary for them, while 15% found it to be only somewhat necessary. However, there are still 4% of patients using fluoxetine (group of active ingredients) who feel it is only slightly or even not at all necessary for them.

We asked 1741 patients using fluoxetine (group of active ingredients) how often they forgot to take their medication? 52% of reported that they never or rarely forgot to take their medication, while 27% of patients taking fluoxetine (group of active ingredients) reported sometimes forgetting to take their medication. 21% of patients sadly often or almost all the time forget to take their medication. Surveying 1827 patients we asked them to what extent they felt that the benefits of their medicine (in this case fluoxetine (group of active ingredients)) outweighed its disadvantages. A group of 70% replied that they felt to a large or even extreme extent that the advantages of taking their medication outweighed any disadvantages that fluoxetine (group of active ingredients) may have. 19% of the patients felt this and a reduced level and reported feeling only a moderate extent. At the bottom of the scale were 11% of the patients asked, who felt this was true to only a small extent or even reported a result of not at all.

We asked 1826 patients taking fluoxetine (group of active ingredients) in a recent survey if they were satisfied with the information and guidance they received with their medication. 73% of those asked were very satisfied or satisfied with the information. While, 19% of the patients taking fluoxetine (group of active ingredients) when asked were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, leaving 7% of patients feeling either dissatisfied or very dissatisfied when it came to the information and guidance they received with their medication.
