118 patients who were using Ezetimibe / Simvastatin were asked how effective they found their medicine. 88% were very positive about Ezetimibe / Simvastatin answering that they were very / extremely effective, however 5% felt Ezetimibe / Simvastatin was only somewhat effective. Unfortunately 7% of the patients asked felt Ezetimibe / Simvastatin had only a slight or very little effect for them.
120 patients taking Ezetimibe / Simvastatin were asked how bothered they were by any side effects from taking Ezetimibe / Simvastatin? 93% felt not at all or only slightly bothered by side effects from taking Ezetimibe / Simvastatin, while 3% felt somewhat bothered. Meaning that 4% felt very or extremely bothered by side effects from taking Ezetimibe / Simvastatin.
We recently asked 120 patients who reported taking Ezetimibe / Simvastatin how often they took it as prescribed? While 100% told us they never, or only sometimes forgot to take it on time, 0% said that they often forgot to take their Ezetimibe / Simvastatin as prescribed. 120 patients using Ezetimibe / Simvastatin were asked how difficult they found it to take their medicine as prescribed? There are several reasons why it can be difficult for a patient to take their medication as prescribed. Luckily 99% of those asked felt that they found it not at all or only somewhat difficult to take their Ezetimibe / Simvastatin as prescribed by their doctor, 1% felt they found taking Ezetimibe / Simvastatin very difficult. Leaving 0% who felt it extremely difficult for them to take Ezetimibe / Simvastatin.
A patient survey asked 120 patients just how confident they felt about taking Ezetimibe / Simvastatin? 89% replied postivly that they felt either very or extremely confident when it came to taking Ezetimibe / Simvastatin. 7% of the patients replied they were only slightly confident, while 4% of them responded feeling only slightly confident when it came to taking Ezetimibe / Simvastatin.
We asked 120 patients how necessary they found taking Ezetimibe / Simvastatin. 93% of the patients asked found Ezetimibe / Simvastatin to be very or extremely necessary for them, while 6% found it to be only somewhat necessary. However, there are still 2% of patients using Ezetimibe / Simvastatin who feel it is only slightly or even not at all necessary for them.
114 patients were recently asked how often they forgot to take their medication? 94% of those asked never or rarely forgot their medication, while 4% of those taking Ezetimibe / Simvastatin reported that they sometimes forgot. This left 3% of patients sadly reporting that they often or almost all the time forgot to take their medication. If you also forget your medication try using DrugStars to help you remember.
Surveying 114 patients we asked them to what extent they felt that the benefits of their medicine (in this case Ezetimibe / Simvastatin) outweighed its disadvantages. A group of 83% replied that they felt to a large or even extreme extent that the advantages of taking their medication outweighed any disadvantages that Ezetimibe / Simvastatin may have. 9% of the patients felt this and a reduced level and reported feeling only a moderate extent. At the bottom of the scale were 8% of the patients asked, who felt this was true to only a small extent or even reported a result of not at all.
114 patients were recently asked how satisfied they were with the information and guidance they received with their Ezetimibe / Simvastatin. 90% of those asked were either very satisfied or satisfied, which is great news. However, 5% of those asked were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, which left 4% of patients feeling either dissatisfied or even worse very dissatisfied with the information and guidance they received with their medication.
