DrugsDisclosed has gathered medical insights from 1939 real-world patients taking Eliquis. These patients are from different countries, lifestyles and healthcare systems, their unifying characteristic is the medicine they take.
1931 patients taking Eliquis were asked how effective they found their medicine. Luckily 82% responded very positively about Eliquis reporting that they were very / extremely effective, while 13% reported that they felt Eliquis was only somewhat effective for them. Finally 4% of the patients asked reported that Eliquis had only a slight or very little effect for them.
We asked 1939 patients taking Eliquis how bothered they were by side effects from taking Eliquis? Of those asked 89% reported that they were not at all or only slightly bothered by any side effects, while 9% of those asked reported feeling somewhat bothered. Meaning that sadly 2% of patients using Eliquis felt very or extremely bothered by the side effects of taking Eliquis.
We recently asked 1939 patients who reported taking Eliquis how often they took it as prescribed? While 98% told us they never, or only sometimes forgot to take it on time, 2% said that they often forgot to take their Eliquis as prescribed. Sadly 1% forgot to take them all the time. 1939 patients using Eliquis were asked how difficult they found it to take their medicine as prescribed? There are several reasons why it can be difficult for a patient to take their medication as prescribed. Luckily 96% of those asked felt that they found it not at all or only somewhat difficult to take their Eliquis as prescribed by their doctor, 3% felt they found taking Eliquis very difficult. Leaving 0% who felt it extremely difficult for them to take Eliquis.
A patient survey asked 1938 patients just how confident they felt about taking Eliquis? 80% replied postivly that they felt either very or extremely confident when it came to taking Eliquis. 16% of the patients replied they were only slightly confident, while 4% of them responded feeling only slightly confident when it came to taking Eliquis.
1860 patients were asked how necessary they found taking Eliquis. 90% said they found Eliquis to be very or extremely necessary, while 7% said they found it to be only somewhat necessary. Sadly, the final 2% of patients asked found it only slightly or even not at all necessary for them. If you feel your medication is unnecessary, please talk to your doctor about it.
1650 patients were recently asked how often they forgot to take their medication? 92% of those asked never or rarely forgot their medication, while 7% of those taking Eliquis reported that they sometimes forgot. This left 1% of patients sadly reporting that they often or almost all the time forgot to take their medication. If you also forget your medication try using DrugStars to help you remember.
When we asked 1909 patients to what extent they felt that the benefits of their medicine outweighed its disadvantages a group of 80% of them replied that they felt to a large or even extreme extent that the advantages of taking Eliquis outweighed any disadvantages. 14% of the patients however felt this to a moderate extent leaving 7% who felt this was true to only a small extent or even felt not at all.
We asked 1909 patients taking Eliquis in a recent survey if they were satisfied with the information and guidance they received with their medication. 85% of those asked were very satisfied or satisfied with the information. While, 11% of the patients taking Eliquis when asked were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, leaving 5% of patients feeling either dissatisfied or very dissatisfied when it came to the information and guidance they received with their medication.
