Surveying 6932 patients we asked them to what extent they felt that the benefits of their medicine (in this case Atorvastatin [Ranbaxy]) outweighed its disadvantages. A group of 75% replied that they felt to a large or even extreme extent that the advantages of taking their medication outweighed any disadvantages that Atorvastatin [Ranbaxy] may have. 16% of the patients felt this and a reduced level and reported feeling only a moderate extent. At the bottom of the scale were 9% of the patients asked, who felt this was true to only a small extent or even reported a result of not at all.
When asking 6932 patients taking Atorvastatin [Ranbaxy] if they were satisfied with the information and guidance they received with their medication. 82% of them answered that they were very satisfied or satisfied while, 13% of were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied. That left 4% of patients feeling either dissatisfied or worse of all very dissatisfied when it came to the information and guidance they received with their Atorvastatin [Ranbaxy].
