There are several reasons why it can be difficult for a patient to take their medication as prescribed. Luckily 97% of those asked felt that they found it not at all or only somewhat difficult to take their Atorvastatin as prescribed by their doctor, 2% felt they found taking Atorvastatin very difficult. Leaving 1% who felt it extremely difficult for them to take Atorvastatin.
A patient survey asked 7561 patients just how confident they felt about taking Atorvastatin? 78% replied postivly that they felt either very or extremely confident when it came to taking Atorvastatin. 17% of the patients replied they were only slightly confident, while 5% of them responded feeling only slightly confident when it came to taking Atorvastatin.
When asking 7319 patients how necessary they found taking their medication. 81% said they felt taking Atorvastatin to be very or extremely necessary. 16% said they felt Atorvastatin to be only somewhat necessary for them. Finally 4% of patients taking Atorvastatin found it only slightly or even not at all necessary for them.
6795 patients taking Atorvastatin were asked how often they forgot to take their medication? 93% of those asked said they never or rarely forgot to take their Atorvastatin, although 5% of patients taking Atorvastatin reported that they sometimes forget to take their medication, even forgetting sometimes can have a negative effect on your treatment. 2% of patients sadly reported that they often or almost all the time forget their medication.
When we asked 7355 patients to what extent they felt that the benefits of their medicine outweighed its disadvantages a group of 75% of them replied that they felt to a large or even extreme extent that the advantages of taking Atorvastatin outweighed any disadvantages. 16% of the patients however felt this to a moderate extent leaving 9% who felt this was true to only a small extent or even felt not at all.
We asked 7355 patients taking Atorvastatin in a recent survey if they were satisfied with the information and guidance they received with their medication. 83% of those asked were very satisfied or satisfied with the information. While, 13% of the patients taking Atorvastatin when asked were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, leaving 4% of patients feeling either dissatisfied or very dissatisfied when it came to the information and guidance they received with their medication.
