1576 patients taking Amitriptyline were asked how effective they found their medicine. Luckily 71% responded very positively about Amitriptyline reporting that they were very / extremely effective, while 18% reported that they felt Amitriptyline was only somewhat effective for them. Finally 11% of the patients asked reported that Amitriptyline had only a slight or very little effect for them.
We asked 1582 patients taking Amitriptyline just how bothered they were by side effects? 75% of those we asked this too reported feeling they were not at all or only slightly bothered by side effects, yet 15% of patients asked said they felt somewhat bothered from Amitriptyline. This leaves 9% of the patients we asked who were using Amitriptyline still felt very or extremely bothered from side effects when they were taking Amitriptyline.
We asked 1582 patients taking Amitriptyline how often they took their medicine as prescribed by their doctor? 94% said they never, or only sometimes forget, while 3% often forgot to take their Amitriptyline as prescribed. We asked 1582 patients taking Amitriptyline how difficult they found it to take their medicine as prescribed? There can be many factors why they found it difficult to take as prescribed. 93% of those asked positively reported that they found it not at all or only somewhat difficult to take their Amitriptyline as prescribed, whereas 5% reported that they found taking the same medication very difficult. Sadly, there were still 2% who reported finding it extremely difficult for them to take their medicine as prescribed.
1582 patients were recently asked how confident they felt about taking Amitriptyline? 76% of those we asked said that they felt either very or extremely confident when it came to taking Amitriptyline. 19% felt only slightly confident while 6% of the patients we asked felt only slightly confident when taking Amitriptyline.
When asking 1558 patients how necessary they found taking their medication. 84% said they felt taking Amitriptyline to be very or extremely necessary. 11% said they felt Amitriptyline to be only somewhat necessary for them. Finally 4% of patients taking Amitriptyline found it only slightly or even not at all necessary for them.
We asked 1434 patients using Amitriptyline how often they forgot to take their medication? 84% of reported that they never or rarely forgot to take their medication, while 11% of patients taking Amitriptyline reported sometimes forgetting to take their medication. 5% of patients sadly often or almost all the time forget to take their medication. When we asked 1462 patients to what extent they felt that the benefits of their medicine outweighed its disadvantages a group of 74% of them replied that they felt to a large or even extreme extent that the advantages of taking Amitriptyline outweighed any disadvantages. 16% of the patients however felt this to a moderate extent leaving 10% who felt this was true to only a small extent or even felt not at all.
When asking 1462 patients taking Amitriptyline if they were satisfied with the information and guidance they received with their medication. 82% of them answered that they were very satisfied or satisfied while, 13% of were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied. That left 6% of patients feeling either dissatisfied or worse of all very dissatisfied when it came to the information and guidance they received with their Amitriptyline.
