There are several reasons why it can be difficult for a patient to take their medication as prescribed. Luckily 98% of those asked felt that they found it not at all or only somewhat difficult to take their Allopurinol [Teva] as prescribed by their doctor, 2% felt they found taking Allopurinol [Teva] very difficult. Leaving 1% who felt it extremely difficult for them to take Allopurinol [Teva].
A patient survey asked 1625 patients just how confident they felt about taking Allopurinol [Teva]? 86% replied postivly that they felt either very or extremely confident when it came to taking Allopurinol [Teva]. 12% of the patients replied they were only slightly confident, while 2% of them responded feeling only slightly confident when it came to taking Allopurinol [Teva].

1359 patients were recently asked how often they forgot to take their medication? 92% of those asked never or rarely forgot their medication, while 6% of those taking Allopurinol [Teva] reported that they sometimes forgot. Surveying 1564 patients we asked them to what extent they felt that the benefits of their medicine (in this case Allopurinol [Teva]) outweighed its disadvantages. A group of 80% replied that they felt to a large or even extreme extent that the advantages of taking their medication outweighed any disadvantages that Allopurinol [Teva] may have. 11% of the patients felt this and a reduced level and reported feeling only a moderate extent. We asked 1564 patients taking Allopurinol [Teva] in a recent survey if they were satisfied with the information and guidance they received with their medication. 82% of those asked were very satisfied or satisfied with the information. While, 12% of the patients taking Allopurinol [Teva] when asked were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, leaving 5% of patients feeling either dissatisfied or very dissatisfied when it came to the information and guidance they received with their medication.
