352 patients taking Vimpat were asked how effective they found their medicine. Luckily 67% responded very positively about Vimpat reporting that they were very / extremely effective, while 22% reported that they felt Vimpat was only somewhat effective for them. Finally 11% of the patients asked reported that Vimpat had only a slight or very little effect for them.

We asked 355 patients taking Vimpat how bothered they were by side effects from taking Vimpat? Of those asked 62% reported that they were not at all or only slightly bothered by any side effects, while 30% of those asked reported feeling somewhat bothered. Meaning that sadly 9% of patients using Vimpat felt very or extremely bothered by the side effects of taking Vimpat.
